What do you get when you mix thousands of square miles of wildlife sanctuary and an ancient, smoldering subterranean super-volcano ?
Why Yellowstone, of course!

Join the Brothers Johnson as they venture into Yellowstone to sneak up on buffalo and stop and smell the geysers.

Road Trip Montana

Josh & Dustin Johnson took a week to do a whirlwind tour of the Big Sky state. Watch their previous videos Montana Road Trip: Heading to Yellowstone & Notes from the Road: To move under the Big Sky. Next Episode: Glacier National Park!

I can’t wait to get back to the Lamar Valley for some trout fishing.

Lamar was amazing, the temperature dropped ten degrees and we wandered around keeping a look out for wolves

The only thing about Yellowstone I didn’t like was how little time I had to enjoy it!
I was truly amazed, the few short days Dustin and I spent were filled with discovery, I couldn’t keep batteries in my camera!

this is awesome footage, you guys! oh montana…just glimpsing those mountains as you drive by fills me with longing. i am envious!

the weight and speed of the buffalo remind me of the world’s most endangered mammal, the javan rhino, of which only 55 are left. the WWF finally got some footage of them recently, if you’re interested: http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/mar/05/javan-rhino-wwf-footage

    any gizzly run-ins?

…hilarious background music, by the way…the perfect touch ;)

Yeah, Montana was everything it was cracked up to be, I mean you always hear about something being ever so grand but seldom does the moment exceed the anticipation, anticipation is everything they say. Well montana did and thanks for the compliment.

      Thanks for the Rhino, linkage!
And funny you should mention El Grizzly…
