When I was freelancing I sent out a 10-20 queries a week. Some were recycled, some were new. But there was always stuff out there with my name on it. The beauty of thinking like this is that it not only gets you writing faster, it helps you hone your style *and* forces you to continually look for new markets. And when you do come up with that one idea every day, you can learn to spin it 3, 5 or 10 different ways so that even if you do run dry of ideas you’ve still got stuff out there doing the work for you.
