For some reason these guys are more accurate than Surfline or some of the other big guys in the forecasting business. Sorry about the mortals claim, Bren, most of these spots are definitely for those who are already comfortable in the water. I wrote the piece with those intentions. I've been lucky enough to have surfed two of those spots, Hookipa and Honolua and the descriptions are right on. Hookipa can be pretty heavy and it's easy to get caught in a rouge set twice the size as everything else. Honolua is certainly a fun, magical spot! This really makes me miss Hawaii. Thanks again!
