    Nice vid, Josh.

I had only heard of Oregon Trail from my wife, but we were with a group of Americans/Canadians her age and they all knew about it! A “generational” thing, maybe (even though I’m only two years older)? Or did I just miss out?

My family’s first computer was a Commodore 64, a beast whose only purpose was for us to play video games on (which required the insertion of a giant floppy disk). My first “computer class” in grade school was basically 45 minutes of game playing. Of course we played Oregon Trail, and another game (I can’t remember the name) that involved going through a haunted house. I didn’t even get my first email address until college – 1998.
