Milky Way, Earth, North America, USA, Washington, Pierce County, Cascade Mountains, Mt. Rainier.
At 14,411 feet (4,392 m) the Mountain is the highest in the Cascade Volcanic Arc, a vast sweap that reaches from Canada to Northern California.
These pix were taken hiking from Paradise Lodge to Camp Muir.

On a clear day like this it is all snow and sky. The only creatures I saw above 9,000 feet were these giant ravens, sailing on the winds rushing up the mountain. Yeah, Rainier is nice.

You should hit up Rainier while the weather is perfect. Check the reports the day before you leave, last August we had to turn around because of heavy cloud cover and snow fall.
Please, never hesitate to hit me up for advice!
Glad you like my pix, take care Megan.
