We published a gorgeous and informative piece on the 100 mile wilderness in Maine last year. Check it out - the pics are dreamy.

I agree, a really beautiful post.
I think the moment mine came was when I took my first bungee jump in New Zealand. I was back-packing with a couple of friends and I hadn't planned on doing it for one second, just on watching some others go for the dive. I didn't hesitate on the platform, they said 3, 2, 1, jump and I went flying through the air... I stopped being so scared after that, I realised I want to feel and see all the amazing things out there, everything, as much as possible. Why live on the edge, when you can jump off into the unknown?

I'm going to be losing my travel virginity in September, when I go to live in Buenos Aires for 4 months for no better reason than because I can. After that? Some other country (random to a degree, because people will be voting where I go every 4 months on my website, http://ExileLifestyle.com).

I cannot wait for the experiences that I'm going to have, the people I'm going to meet and the stories I'll have to tell. This post came at a very welcome moment in my life!

Beautiful post. You brought me out there into the 100 mile wilderness.

Personally, I traveled a lot as a child, but the moment when I realized that I could take a totally unconventional life path empowered by travel probably came in Camodia when I was 22 years old and saw just how messed-up it was and how much I could do there. The sense of total, untapped potential. Intoxicating.
