I haven't been to Montana, but always have imagined it (based partly, of course, on pictures/video I've seen) as just this peaceful, wide expanse of land that you can't really find anywhere else in this country. I've definitely been moved by the sky in Montana and Idaho--just miles of open, clear blue.
