I didn’t add any extra zeros here! One hundred grand is the prize for the best video at 140 seconds or less that depicts a day in your life.

THE CONCEPT is to capture the essence of your day creativity and with style. And you better bring your A game cause 100 stacks of cheddar is gonna bring out some amazing filmmakers.

Contest Breakdown

  • Deadline: December 15th
  • 140 second time limit
  • 1st Prize: $100, 000 + Nikon camera kit
  • 2nd Prize: $25, 000 + Nikon camera kit
  • Upload at Nikon.com
  • No copy written music or material
  • The Judges are Nikon jockey Ashton Kutcher, social media celebrity iJustine, Photographer Chase Jarvis and Actor Rainn Wilson. And as you can tell with with sample videos, the bar is set pretty high.

      wah. Why does Nikon want to reward people who are already photographically and cinematographically inclined? And what about those of us who prefer still photography (or who don’t have a video camera?). I hope they’ll put up a bunch of also-rans as well. Should be fascinating!
