All sound fun, but you’d be more accurate if you called it “50 things to do before you have children.” Because that’s your real “deadline” for the vast majority of them.

Well, I’m only 17 and I’ve completed five off the list so that’s a pretty good start… 19, 21 (sort of, it was an active volcano, but it was the sort that had fissures, and climbed up the side of the caldera), 29, 34 and 37 (sort of, it wasn’t a traditional tea ceremony, it was more lax, but I did get to wear a kimono).

I think this list is great, however it all seems to be about things to get out of life.

How about adding a goal about making a small difference in the world, or just giving something back, even in a tiny way?

Loved your ideas, and have given me a lot of food for thought regarding my own list.

This list is amazing. I am only 13 ears old and today i sat down and decided to write a list of 200 things i want to do in my life. This list has really inspired me so thank you and i hope whoever has there own list achieves everything they have set to achieve.

I am a 23 year old Chinese girl who has been lucky to meet someone who loves life and has probably achieved most things on these lists.
I have been fortunate to have him as a friend and have been introduced to many things.

I have scuba dived in Philippines nad Malaysia yetstill cant swim. I have bungee jumped , parasailed , Rode elephants and jet skis in Thailand. I have been to Cambodia and visited Angkor Wat. I have been to Vietnam several times and tour that country extensively.

I have also been to Israel and Jordon. Saw the lost city of Petra and parachuted from a plane in Israel. I have swam in dead see (probably only place in world I could swim). I have taken a 25 day Contikki tour of Europe and have paraglided and gone white water rafting in Austria.

I think I amvery lucky that at my age I have experienced so much of life and have a freind who has taught me that there is no job in the world worth dying for and that this life is not a reahersal for something else. His philosopy is to crowd as many experiences into his life and treat all people with kindness and respect.

Hehe.. just do it.. it`s harder if you own a lot of things but still. you are, no matter how wierd it sounds or far out it sounds.. you are able to quit your job, take the little money you got.. get on the plane to where you want to.. (the cheapest) where you have never been before and there you go.. suddenly your life is new, beautiful, interesting..

work a little, a week here, a week there.. stay trough couchsufring.org, smile, hitch hike..

smile.. a smile will get you a long way and a FAT passport.

i did it. no problemo..

Ever since I was a kid I have always had an idea of what I want to do with my life. Just recently I sat down and wrote a list. Thanks for the inspiration. Some of these will be added to my own list. I think that everyone should write out their own list because it gives you a clear idea of the things in life that you most want to achieve, and when you do cross one off your list, there is no way to explain how good it feels.

Before this list I had already wrote my list of 50 things, a lot of them were travelling as well. Mostly Adventurous. My Main ones were to go bungee jumping, go to africa to see the wildlife and to go to Las Vegas, now before, I did just think well if in the future I do actually turn out to be pretty wealthy I might just grab this list adn go nuts, but I realised something going through all the comments, I have my whole life ahead of me, We work for money for things we want, I want my life to be full of great experiences, So no I don’t need to be rich to pull off my 50.

You only get one shot at life.
Make yours exactly what you want it to be.
